EXION FRACTIONAL RF MICRONEEDLING
Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling, also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to improve the appearance of skin: Wrinkles, Scarring, Sagging skin, Stretch marks, Large pores, Acne scars, and Dark spots. During the procedure, a provider uses specially insulated needles to puncture the skin and create tiny channels or micro-wounds: Radiofrequency energy is then released into the channels in a fractional pattern, generating heat and causing thermal injury:
A serum with nutrients may also be administered to help build collagen and elastin. The skin that grows back is thicker and smoother, and can rejuvenate and tighten the skin. RF Microneedling is usually performed under topical numbing, and some say it feels like a rubber band snapping back and stinging. Different areas of the face may be more painful than others, with fleshier areas like the cheeks and around the eyes being more sensitive than areas closer to the bone, like the forehead. To prepare for the procedure, you should avoid alcohol and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs), as these may increase bruising. You may also want to consider having a VISIA® Skin Analysis performed before treatment to monitor your progress. Typically, you'll need at least three treatments, but packages and service bundles may be available.
